Poverty is not synonymous to humility, neither is it a proof of purity. Abraham was a friend of God yet lived in stupendous wealth. You don’t resemble God been poor. Jesus became poor for us to become rich. Poverty is an insult on redemption and a big slap on sacrifice of Jesus our redeemer. Lazarus the poor die in penury yet became a messenger to Abraham in Heaven. The rich man begged father Abraham to send Lazarus to him with water.
